The FQS comprise of a small committee, made up of parents, teachers, and friends of the school.

All the members of the committee have the school’s best interest at heart, and work tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds which enable Mrs Tanner and her staff to purchase equipment of their choice to further enhance the all round facilities, both educational and pastoral, for children at the school.

We encourage all parents to become involved in our fundraising, and only ask that each family make a minimum donation each year of £10.00. This is requested in the Autumn term.

Functions and Fundraising

Every year we hold social functions, such as parties for the Children at Valentine’s, Summer and Hallowe'en and a Sponsored Walk.

These social events enable us to raise money to cover:-

• Easter Eggs & Christmas Presents
• Sports Day Prizes and Refreshments
• Speech Day Prizes and Engraving of Trophies
• School Summer Trips

As well as these we hold larger fundraising events such as our:-

• Annual Charity Ball and Auction
• Summer Fair
• Race Night
• Christmas Fair & Raffle

Through these events, we have raised and donated enough money to enable Mrs Tanner to make the large purchases listed below, plus many other smaller items.
