After School Care
The school offers supervision of children until 5:30 pm to assist working parents; there is a small charge for this service.
The provision of child care in out of school hours at Queenswood School is
undertaken by members of the school's staff: all the School's policies,
including child care, welfare, health and safety, first aid and child
protection are strictly observed. There are always two members of staff
present for Clubs and Care and the supervising adult in charge of each
session has an up-to-date qualification in First Aid for children.
Mrs Tanner is happy to discuss parents' personal requirements for out of
hours care and the provision that Queenswood is able to offer.
School Meals
Fresh fruit and a drink of milk, juice or water are served for the children at morning break. Dinners are freshly prepared in the school kitchens daily by a professional cook offering a well balanced diet. We always attempt to cater for any special dietary needs children may have. Meals are subsidised by the school in order to reduce the cost to parents.
The school is never closed for bad weather - we always find some useful opportunity for learning and sharing time with each other.
