This overview contains a brief description of what the children will be covering in class for parents' information: it is a brief overview since Drama and Spoken English; Computing; Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning are included in various lessons in the timetable
The Uppers enjoyed their History trip this afternoon. As part of their studies, they went to Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds to gain a deeper understanding of monasteries and the contributions they made to the community who lived there (and the wider community too). This is in the context of post-Anglo Saxon Britain and Henry VIII's dissolution of the monasteries. A good time was had by all!

A perfect poem for this spooky time of year. The Upper Juniors performed this eerie rhyming poem about a supernatural being coming to reclaim something that belongs to them...
This was an impromptu performance which captured our imagination at Hallowe'en!
Our Juniors missed their annual English Speaking Board assessments last year due to Covid - but drama and public speaking is celebrated at Queenswood.
