Lower Juniors
An 'email bulletin' is sent to parents each Friday so that they are kept up to date on a regular basis with the day-to-day happenings at school.
For special news - watch this space!!
The curriculum overview for the term can be found here:

This overview contains a brief description of what the children will be covering in class for parents' information: it is a brief overview since Drama and Spoken English; Computing; Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning are included in various lessons in the timetable.

In Art, Juniors have been exploring sculpture. We have been looking at Giacometti’s work and have recreated his sculptures using tinfoil! In English the Lowers are working on Ted Hughes' 'Iron Man' and they suddenly realised that their tinfoil sculptures are like their very own personal iron men! They are enjoying the book and creating some excellent work in English inspired by this story!

The Juniors had a Virtual Visit with Georgina Stevens, author of the book Climate Action: The Future is in Our Hands. This book encourages environmental awareness and explores the human impact on climate change.

Pupils went on to create pictures of their vision of the future and wrote letters to local and environmental MPs to share their ideas of actions that need to be made to protect our beautiful planet
