The FQS comprise of a small committee, made up of parents, teachers, and friends of the school.
All the members of the committee have the school’s best interest at heart, and work tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds which enable Mrs Tanner and her staff to purchase equipment of their choice to further enhance the all round facilities, both educational and pastoral, for children at the school.
We encourage all families to become involved in the fundraising, which is not only a great help to the school, but it actively encourages that lovely community spirit which the entire Queenswood family love!
Functions and Fundraising
Every year the FQS holds social functions, such as Valentines, Autumn and Summer parties, and larger events including Summer and Christmas Fairs.
These social events enable us to raise money to cover:-

Sports Day Prizes and Refreshments

Speech Day Prizes and Engraving of Trophies

School Summer Trips
Through these events, we have raised and donated enough money to enable Mrs Tanner to make the large purchases to enhance school facilities. These include:

Playground Fencing;

Outside Shelter for the EYFS area;

New Staging for the hall;

New Lighting and Sound System for our productions;

Refurbishment of ICT equipment;

Digital Cameras and Lap Top Computers;

Maths/French & English Resources;

Science Equipment incl. Whiteboards;

Classroom Furniture and Refurbishments.
Easy Fundraising
